You can cancel most orders because you have changed your mind. Separate from that, the law gives you rights if the goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. Nothing on this page limits those legal rights. Sale prices do not remove them.

Changed your mind

You have 14 days to tell us you want to cancel, starting the day after you receive the goods. If an order arrives in more than one parcel, the 14 days start the day after the last parcel arrives.

Email contact@gmvshopping.co.uk with your name, order number and what you want to return. You do not have to give a reason. A clear statement that you are cancelling is enough.

Then send the goods back within 14 days of telling us. Do not post the parcel until we reply. We will tell you the return address in that reply.

You pay the cost of posting the goods back when you have changed your mind. Use a tracked service and keep the receipt. Outbound delivery charges are refunded if you return the whole order. If you keep part of the order, we refund the returned goods and not the original delivery charge.

Return the goods unused, with their packaging and anything that came in the box, as far as you can. You may open the packaging and handle the goods as you would in a shop, to check them. If you handle them beyond that and their value drops, we may reduce the refund by that loss in value.

We refund the amount due to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the goods back. We may wait until we have the goods, or until you show proof of posting, before we refund.

When a change of mind does not apply

  • Sealed goods that are not suitable for return once the seal is broken, for health protection or hygiene. This includes fragrance, cosmetics and similar items if you have broken the seal.
  • Goods made to your specification, or clearly personalised.
  • Goods that deteriorate or expire quickly.

These limits apply only to a change of mind. They do not apply if the goods are faulty or not as described.

Faulty, damaged or not as described

Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for their purpose and as described. If they are not, email contact@gmvshopping.co.uk with your order number and photographs.

  • Within 30 days of delivery you can reject the goods and ask for a full refund.
  • After that, we will repair or replace them where that is possible. If a repair or replacement fails, or cannot be done, you can ask for a price reduction or a refund.

When the problem is our responsibility, we pay the return postage. We refund the price you paid for those goods, and the delivery charge where the law requires it, to the original payment method.

These rights last longer than 14 days. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland a claim can usually be made for up to six years from delivery. In Scotland the period is usually five years.

How a refund is paid

Refunds go back to the way you paid. Your bank or card provider may take a few more days to show the money. We do not charge a fee to refund you.
